Overview:

A Health and Safety Inspector will be presenting to companies the benefits and necessity of our services and help develop preventative methods for each individual company. You will be working in different areas.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting Health and Safety strategies
• inspecting each site for potential health and safety problems
• Ongoing inspections to ensure assigned policies have been implemented and adhered to
• Having an up-to-date knowledge of the current Health and Safety legislation in place
• Identifying risk and consequently safety procedures
• Preparing accident / incident reports
• Risk assessment

Skills

• Good communication skills, written and spoken
• Good negotiating skills - you will be convincing companies the importance of your safety procedures
• Attention to detail
• Logical
• Ability to understand complex legislation and translate into everyday language
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Computer literate
• Good level of fitness

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Nebosh certification holders are prefer
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
